Christmas Decor

I know we usually keep things "kid centered" around here but sometimes we have to throw something in for the mom's too . . .

After getting my Christmas decorations up this year I need a few more things to fill in the spaces. I searched around online at my favorite blogs hoping to find some sort of Christmas subway art but couldn't find what I was looking for. I finally decided I'd make my own.

Here's what I came up with:

I created the wording using Picasa and then crossed my fingers and headed to the dollar store hoping to find a frame.

And sure enough I found just what I was looking for. I've had some amazing luck at the dollar store lately. Remember the frames that I got for my silhouettes here? This time was just as good. I found a 11x13 inch black frame and also some matted art that I bought just for the mat. $2 total. Perfect!

After bring my dollar store treasures home I printed out my 8x10 wording and pieced it all together. Not bad for $2 . . .

Would you like one too? Feel free to download your own right HERE.
